Affording Birches

Birches School seeks an economically diverse community and we work to make Birches accessible to as many families as possible. In the 2024-2025 school year, 39% of Birches families receive some type of financial aid. Birches Financial Aid program is designed to make Birches’ education available for all families based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of funds.

Tuition can be paid by your choice of payment plan:

two equal installments (August and January)
ten monthly installments from August through May

Birches is pleased to use the Clarity Application to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share. The steps to apply for financial aid are detailed below. Please note the deadline for completing the financial aid application, including relevant supplemental documents, for new families is January 15, 2025.

Applying For Financial Aid

Step One:

To get started, please go to the Clarity Application and create an account. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete. The Clarity Application is also mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time. At the end of the application, there is a $60 fee to submit, and you can share your application with additional schools that accept the Clarity Application for no additional charge. Simply use the dropdown menu in the application to select those schools.

Step Two:

Please remember to return to your dashboard after you complete and submit your Clarity Application, as Birches School may require you to upload additional tax documentation. The deadline for completing the financial aid application including relevant supplemental documents for new families is January 15, 2025.
