LARRY NIRENBERG

Larry is a founder and managing general partner of FMG Development, a Connecticut based real estate development and management company he helped establish in 1998. He served for 10 years as a development advisor to Nuestra Communidad, a CDC that develops affordable housing and supporting retail services in the Dudley Square neighborhood of Boston. He and his wife, Cathy Ziehl, served on the Advisory Board of the child psychiatry department at Mass General hospital. They have been actively involved with the Dana Farber Cancer Institute for over 20 years and currently serve on the visiting committee supporting the work of the Cancer Care Equity Group led by Dr Chris Lathan, whose mission is to offer world-class cancer care to underserved communities of color in Boston. His 3 adult children attended The Chestnut Hill school where he was a member of the Development Committee and served as chair for 2 years. Above all else, he treasures his life as a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend.
