Andrew Hudson is a business owner and entrepreneur. An engineer by trade, he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering and a National Title in Varsity Rowing. After working for an advanced Technology Group at Air Products and coaching women’s crew by night, he went on to pursue his MBA (with a focus on Management of Technology) at Lehigh University. Since 2001, Andrew has parlayed his skills in business technology with companies such as Lucent, Opnetics (a startup company of MIT Lincoln Labs scientists), and ultimately landed in the Commercial Construction Industry. For the last 22 years, he has worked as a subcontractor in Prefabricated Exterior Building Facades, concentrating on Design Assist and Design-Build Projects. In 2018 he founded New England Prefab, a design assist business built around the StoPanel Technology Program that has grown from its 2012 creation to 36 Affiliates in 7 countries, 23 in North America and 13 International. He moonlights as a financial wiz, with considerable personal time spent reading and investing through various financial investment strategies. Previous Board work includes a 5-year term with the Lehigh Valley division of Communities in Schools, a non-profit whose mission is to lower the dropout rate in public high schools across the country. Andrew and his family spend their free time attending theater, exploring nature, and visiting relatives in Maine and Pennsylvania. Andrew and his wife Janis have two daughters at Birches, one in 3rd grade and one in 1st grade.
